Evergreen Lodge is a very special place with homestyle accommodations. Ken & Fay Kobelka will do their best to make your visit a real treat. And the duck hunting is excellent if you like a variety of ducks in beautiful marshes.

Ken introduced me to my first bear hunting experience and what an experience it was. Being a little apprehensive of bears I have to admit I was a little nervous. The day prior to my hunt Ken sat down with me and fully prepared me for my adventure. When the time came, on the first night, I harvested myself a nice chocolate bear with complete confidence and control (thanks Ken). The fishing was out of control!! My wife and I caught just under 100 lake trout between 8AM and 12 noon, and this includes the time to get there and back. Ken was a great asset in finding the perfect location and releasing the fish (we could not keep up). L&M Sporting Goods, Kens store in The Pas is well stocked and Frank the store manager is extremely knowledgeable in hunting and fishing. Overall, the accommodations are clean and comfortable. Thanks Ken for a wonderful week, we look forward to coming back some day.
